If you are planning to visit a dentist with your toddler soon, you might want to cancel it, or at least make sure that he is not put under anesthesia for the simplest of procedures. Doctors and dentists these days like to come up with many reasons to put children under anesthesia, but there is a lot of evidence that doing so can put your children under the risk of brain injury and developmental problems. It is therefore recommended that if you visit your toddler dentist to avoid any form of anesthesia altogether as toddlers simply respond worse to it.
